LiftOff Summer Institute: The LiftOff Summer Institute is a program developed with Texas Space Grant to offer curriculum, research, and exposure to current and future NASA projects. During this week long project, teachers were exposed to real scientists, classroom activities, and tours of Johnson Space Center. One unique feature of this week, is that teachers were asked to bring and share one of their best or favorite lessons to share during the Teacher Feature. This week long program will impact teachers as it increases their knowledge, provides them with curriculum and lessons that can be used immediately, and gives them a network of teachers from across the United States.
