Oregon Space Grant Consortium
OSGC Scholarship/Fellowship Program

OSGC competitively awards scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate students attending OSGC member institutions who have demonstrated a sustained interest in STEM fields including teacher certification programs, and to recognize student achievements in these fields. There are three types of scholarships awards available: 1) Community College Scholarships: merit based, designed to encourage students to explore programs in STEM and STEM education fields of study and to encourage matriculation into 4-year institutions; 2) Undergraduate Scholarships: merit based scholarships to promote and retain student enrollment in STEM, STEM education, and Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs; and 3) Undergraduate Research Fellowships: designed to build collaboration between undergraduate students and faculty mentors working within a STEM discipline. Students applying for the Fellowship program must work with a faculty mentor who supports and guides the student research over the course of the academic year. Faculty mentors must provide a letter of support and current CV as part of the students application. Submitted research proposals must be written primarily by the student applicant.
Students receiving scholarships and fellowships are longitudinally tracked and are included in direct funded student data tables.
