The NASA Robotic Mining Competition provides an opportunity for Morgan State University students to collaborate with NASA personnel and research and learn about space exploration. It encourages students to learn different aspects of designing, assembling, programming, and controlling a tele-operational robot. In addition, Morgan State University participation in the competition showcases the high level of involvement of minority engineering students at a national-level competition.
