The Fellowship/Scholarship component of the MSSGC programs is used to help achieve two of our goals: 1. Encourage – Encourage and inspire students, particularly those from underrepresented groups, to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and 2. Enhance- Enhance and nurture a science-based workforce for Mississippi and the Nation. The objective is to contribute to the development of the STEM workforce in disciplines needed to achieve NASAs strategic goals.
