High-Power Rocket Launch Competitions

The goal of the WSGC High-Powered Rocket Fellowship program is to introduce outstanding undergraduate students to a NASA-sponsored competition. The objectives of this program is to recruit and fund the scholarship of broadly diverse, high-caliber undergraduate students in aerospace science by introducing them to high-powered rocketry. Award recipients are expected to make presentations at a subsequent WSGC Conference, to submit final reports and copies of all published papers, and to engage in the activities of the Consortium as may be deemed appropriate. The Great Midwest Competition is for student teams that have previously participated in the Collegiate Rocket Launch and are ready to participate in a next-step program.
