NASA is increasingly interested in the development of the future aerospace workforce. The goal of the program is to recruit students to aerospace-related research, especially underrepresented students and females. These competitive fellowships are granted to undergraduate and graduate students with a demonstrated interest in working for NASA or the aerospace industry. The fellowships require engagement in an aerospace-related project that is overseen by his or her faculty mentor.
