The Challenger Learning Centers Educator Scholarship program served 64 elementary and middle-school educators with the knowledge, resources, and tools to help their students be innovative, successful, and lifelong learners by increasing students knowledge of and interest in science and engineering. This was accomplished through professional development workshops, educator resources including student lessons, and a visit to the Challenger Learning Center for student simulated space missions and workshops for 2,250 students primarily from underserved communities in the St. Louis region.
