UMTC Higher Ed Wearable Tech

Work with NASA Johnson Space Flight Center (JSC) on wearable technology related to improved crew performance and space suit ergonomics. Provide summer interns to JSC as well as design class projects for students in the College of Design at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. The goal is to assist NASA in areas in which the University of Minnesota has unique expertise and to involve student in design problems relevant to NASA needs. The lead U of MN faculty involved, Professor Lucy Dunne, received a Silver Achievement medal from NASA for this project.
