Colorado Space Grant Consortium
UNC Space Grant
Program Type: Higher Education
The UNC team that designed the multi-year experiment to fly during the eclipse, spent the fall semester focusing on data analysis – adding the data recorded during the eclipse flight. UNC students continue to build and launch scientific high altitude balloon payloads as part of the statewide DemoSat program. UNC students also engage in multiple robotics projects including focusing on subsystem development, investigating brain wave control of a robotics arm and autonomous rovers for the Colorado Robotics Challenge. Students also engage in separate physics research projects, such as investigating the process of balance and continue work on the UNC Heliostate. All student projects present research posters at the annual student symposium
