The mission of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science, and other related technology disciplines. The AISES National Conference is a three-day event for high school juniors and seniors, college and graduate students, teachers, workforce professionals, and corporate partners. The AISES Annual Conference includes professional development, networking opportunities, student presentations, a career fair, awards, and traditional events. The AISES chapter at the University of Oklahoma receives support from Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium in the form of stipends to attend the National Conference
