The goal of the New Investigator program is to strengthen NC aerospace-related research infrastructure by providing start-up funding to early career university faculty conducting interdisciplinary research directly aligned with NASA Strategic Framework. All supported research activities were aligned with NASA Mission Directorates and designed to facilitate ties to NASA centers, facilities, and personnel.
