Travel to the ISPCS Conference: I attended the International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Space Flight in Las Cruces, NM. The symposium brings together representatives from industry and government (NASA and FAA) related to the development and operation of personal and commercial space flight. The symposium is a valuable opportunity to learn what industry needs from new graduates in the space flight sector. It is also a great opportunity to learn more about the technological challenges facing firms and researchers. As NASA’s role changes in the provision of LEO and other space flight operations, maintaining connections through events like ISPCS is critical.
